A piece I painted back in 2013, it was very popular, receiving offers from buyers, but in my mind it wasn't a good enough piece of art, especially as I had painted it on the back of another painting, I couldn't put a price on it. Today I was up early and I thought hey what about The White Queen why don't you do more work on it, gesso the work on the back and paint it out. So here she is, a lovely white queen, part of a series of semi abstract portraits I concentrated on back in 2013-14.
