Roots deep within my childhood, afflicted almost every family home in the street where I grew up, including my
own. The horror of Domestic Violence a regular event. My mother a victim, as the eldest I stood to protect her against the might of my father, I fought him with the limitations of a child, as the eldest I was often the target of his wrath.
